Enjoy excellent vacation rental accommodations at the historic Sun Valley Ranch and Sun Valley Lake at Grand Lake, Colorado. On private land adjacent to Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapahoe National Forest. Originally homesteaded in 1916, and has been serving travelers ever since. From the custom built log lodge cabin to the rustic bunkhouse cabin, we're sure one of these cabins will be just right for you.

The Lodge is a 4-bedroom log home with a 10-jet Jacuzzi tub. Enjoy the covered balcony-patio deck with a BBQ grill off of the upper-level kitchen and great room/dining area plus a covered patio down on the ground level.

The 2-bedroom Bunkhouse is a cute old timers rustic cabin with a modern inside. The perfect lodging for a family (sleeps 6) or 2 couples.

Both are fully furnished, and have modern kitchens, woodstoves, satellite TV and BBQs. Access to private, stocked lake with rowboats included. Colorado River access, snowmobile trails and rentals (extensive groomed trails), horseback riding, biking, cross-country skiing, hiking and hunting. Minutes to Grand Lake. Alpacas raised on ranch.

When children return to school in August and the village slows down a bit. Fall offers amazing colors, less people and the perfect temperature!

No pets or smoking. 3-night minimum. Open all year.

PO Box 470, Grand Lake, Colorado 80447; 800-487-4419; 970-627-3670.
