- Private mountain cabin rentals overlooking beautiful Twin Lakes, this mountain valley is surrounded by the Continental Divide and 14,000 foot mountains. Choose a one-bedroom or two-bedroom cabin, each equipped with kitchen, bathroom and living room. Other amenities include: satellite TV with HBO, queen or king beds, laundry facilities, picnic tables and BBQ grills.
Centrally located to skiing (6 resorts are within a 30 minute to 60 minute drive), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling; and all summer activities: rafting, fishing, ATVing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding.
Family day trips: the historic mining town of Leadville is a 20 Minute drive, the Arkansas River Headwater recreation area is a 30 minute drive and the Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway is about 60 miles long and offers amazing mountain views and small town shopping.
