A warm welcome and great nights' rest await you at LEGACY LODGE, the perfect location for all your mountain adventures. From our doorway, at the junction of Highway 160 and Highway 149, where the Rio Grande River meets its' South Fork, you can embark on a journey along the historic Silver Thread National Scenic Byway. The Byway follows the winding Rio Grande River to its' headwaters in the San Juan Mountains.

Your winter adventures begin with skiing and snowboarding at Wolf Creek Ski Area just minutes away. Snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and ice fishing beckons you to the surrounding wilderness. During warmer months, enjoy golf at the award-winning Rio Grande Club Golf Course or try your angling skills in the gold medal waters of the Rio Grande and numerous lakes and streams nearby. Explore hiking, biking, ATV and jeeping trails or test your abilities at rafting or rock climbing. Don't forget the fall season when the mountains are ablaze with vivid color and some of Colorado's best hunting awaits the avid hunter.

After all these adventures, come and relax in one of our modern lodge rooms, cabins or apartment with all new pillowtop mattresses. One, two and three bed units are available.
