Deep Creek Sleigh Rides

    Explore ghost towns, mining camps, and gold mines. Tour with experienced and knowledgeable drivers or rent a new jeep wrangler. On summer and fall evenings join us for our Outlaw Mountain Cookouts. In winter head out on a sleigh ride.

    Our tour drivers are residents of the area and are very informative about the history. They will make frequent stops, either for pictures or to point out highlights of the trip.

    HALF DAY TOURS: Half day tours depart at 8 am and 1:30 pm

    YANKEE BOY BASIN: Switch-backs to 11,200 feet. Twin Falls. Pass through ghost towns and mining camps. Wildflowers in July!

    ENGINEER ANIMAS FORKS: Original stagecoach route. Ghost towns, mines, rock collecting.

    IMOGENE PASS: Most popular. Pass through Tomboy mining town at 13,114 ft.

    FULL DAY TOURS: Full day tours depart at 8 am Please note: Lunch not included.

    TELLURIDE VIA OPHIR AND IMOGENE PASSES: Over Ophir Pass, through historic mining town of Alta and into Telluride for lunch.

    LAKE CITY: Stagecoach route to Lake City for lunch. Return via Lake Cristobal and Cinnamon Pass.

    SILVERTON: Engineer Mountain, through ghost towns to historic Silverton for lunch.

    TELLURIDE VIA BLACK BEAR: Climb Red Mountain Pass and on to 13,000 feet.

    JEEP RENTALS: New Jeep Wranglers: Pick up at 5:30 pm; Return by 5:00 pm the next evening.

    OUTLAW MOUNTAIN COOKOUTS: Summer & Fall. Rib-Eye steak cooked your way served with Outlaw potatoes, corn, baked beans, salad, bread and a camp fire to toast marshmallows!
