The Appenzell Inn is a Swiss-inspired mountain inn since 1999 offering unique designs in studio, one and two bedroom luxury spa suites and new motel rooms will be available January 2006. Romantic SuiteHeartTM Loft and other panoramic mountain view suites combine comfort and elegance. The contemporary European Pub is a nice place to gather at the end of the day. This resort is convenient to shopping, golfing (available all year) and taking strolls on the Downtown Riverwalk. All the outdoor activities of Rocky Mountain National Park are only four miles away, including hiking, sightseeing, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Other area activities include horseback riding (available year around), bicycling and boating. Lake Estes is only a short half a mile walk.
